There’s a first time for everything. Our Saturday event at Lake Affect Studios has been canceled. There is a silver lining to the cloud, though… for more details, see the latest message to our mailing list.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We will see you outside tomorrow at Playhouse Square from 10-2:00!
We’re excited to be coordinating a runway fashion show for charity with one of our favorite Bazaar vendors, Andrea Howell of Tidal Cool.
Featuring Andrea’s new Cuba Libre collection, all proceeds from the event will be donated to the Cornucopia Inc/Nature’s Bin job training program for adults with disabilities.
In addition to the runway show, several local beauty- and fashion-focused small businesses will be setting up stations to provide beauty services, including Revival (sugar scrub bar), Tease (braid bar), Glam & Grace (rainbow highlighter palettes), Yates Apothecary (custom perfume blends) and much more. Keep an eye on the event Facebook page for updates.
Nature’s Bin catering will be providing food, and the venue, Lake Affect Studios, features a full bar with drink specials designed to compliment the runway show.
Event time: Friday 27 May from 7-10 p.m.
Event location: Lake Affect Studios, 1615 East 25th, Cleveland OH 44114
Tickets are available here.
Our friends at Crafty Mart in Akron are doing an amazing educational series this summer called The Maker Sessions (pssst! only two days left to apply for a scholarship!), and you should check them out! Here’s more information about the entire series of events.
We’re excited to be a part of The Hooley at Kamm’s Corners again this year. In addition, our usual Summer Saturdays at Lake Affect show will be going on downtown, so don’t miss both — we’ll have different vendors at each! Here are the details:
The Hooley: Approximately 40 Bazaar vendors will be located on West 168th, between Chipotle and the Walgreen’s parking lot. The event runs 12-8:00 p.m.
Lake Affect: Approximately 60 Bazaar vendors at our newest summer venue, featuring amazing food, a full bar, and open resident artists’ studios. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:oo p.m.
More updates to come! Thank you for shopping local and supporting independent handmade artists and events. We couldn’t do it without you, Cleveland!

Come visit us at Winterfest today from 10 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.! Shop small with Bazaar vendors and the tenants of 5th Street Arcades, part of Cleveland’s #shopsmall community for over 100 years!
We’ve been concentrating our attention on our Facebook page this year since it generally gets the most traffic of all our social media. If you haven’t liked our Facebook yet, please do!

Download a copy of the 2014 holiday show vendor list.
Tip: if you bring a copy of the list with you to the show, you can make notes about where you found what. It also comes in handy if you later regret not buying something and need to remember “THIS person had the thing that I liked.”
We’ll update it after the show with live links so you can visit the vendor’s websites/Etsy shops/etc.
See you Saturday 10-9 and Sunday 10-6 at 78th Street Studios!
We’re pretty excited about these commemorative 10th anniversary show shirts. Only a limited number were produced by Cleveland’s own Jakprints, using art by local tattoo artist Ryan Crawford. Want to be sure you get the size you need? Preorder here and we’ll have them ready for you at the door.
This sneak preview is a digital mockup by Jakprints. Don’t worry, the ink is red red, not pinkish as it seems here.
Don’t want to stand in line outside in the cold? Buy an earlybird ticket and you’ll get in an hour early (at 9:00) on Saturday AND a t-shirt.
Speaking of standing outside: we’re happy to announce that (in partnership with Detroit Shoreway), we’ll be one of three stops on their trolley from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday the 13th. The other two stops are at the Capitol Theatre and at Cleveland Public Theatre’s parking lot. Hopefully this will help alleviate some of the parking woes. Here’s a map:
Thanks so much for your support and we’ll see you on the 13th and 14th!
