Are you ready for the holidays? We are! There are three Cleveland Bazaar holiday events in 2015, and they are all FREE and open to the public. (We’d rather you spend your money with our talented vendors than pay to get in…) Shop local, support your favorite artists and find amazing items you can’t get at the mall.
Here are all the details you need to add these shows to your calendar:
Have you been following our #madebyhands campaign online? We wanted to take time to remind you that the work you see at our shows is not mass-produced, it’s not coming from China — it’s made and designed with love by local artists.
Check out our Twitter and Facebook coverage, but don’t miss the Instagram takeovers happening all this month and next. Each day a different Cleveland Bazaar artist takes over our Instagram feed for the day and shows off their work, their workspace, their inspirations and much more. (Take a sneak peek at lower right on this page to see some of what’s getting posted…)
Thank you for your interest in our 2015 holiday events!
Last year’s Winterfest and main Bazaar shows had record-breaking traffic as we celebrated our 10th anniversary. This year, we’re adding a new east side event on Coventry in partnership with their merchants association, and we expect traffic to be booming there, too!
This application must be submitted BEFORE 15 August 2015. Please note, there is a $15 non-refundable application fee which will be applied to your total show bill if you are accepted for any of the three events. This fee must be paid before 30 August or your application will NOT be juried and you cannot be accepted for any of the shows.
Tip: if you bring a copy of the list with you to the show, you can make notes about where you found what. It also comes in handy if you later regret not buying something and need to remember “THIS person had the thing that I liked.”
We’ll update it after the show with live links so you can visit the vendor’s websites/Etsy shops/etc.
See you Saturday 10-9 and Sunday 10-6 at 78th Street Studios!
We’re pretty excited about these commemorative 10th anniversary show shirts. Only a limited number were produced by Cleveland’s own Jakprints, using art by local tattoo artist Ryan Crawford. Want to be sure you get the size you need? Preorder here and we’ll have them ready for you at the door.
This sneak preview is a digital mockup by Jakprints. Don’t worry, the ink is red red, not pinkish as it seems here.
Don’t want to stand in line outside in the cold? Buy an earlybird ticket and you’ll get in an hour early (at 9:00) on Saturday AND a t-shirt.
Speaking of standing outside: we’re happy to announce that (in partnership with Detroit Shoreway), we’ll be one of three stops on their trolley from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday the 13th. The other two stops are at the Capitol Theatre and at Cleveland Public Theatre’s parking lot. Hopefully this will help alleviate some of the parking woes. Here’s a map:
Thanks so much for your support and we’ll see you on the 13th and 14th!
