Cara Romano, Cara L. Romano Fine Art & Jewelry (Original Art)
I make and sell original artwork, prints of my artwork, and jewelry made from recycled prints of my artwork. Most of my artwork begins in the same way – from the direct drawing or painting of sunlight and shadow patterns. When I am inspired by a pattern of light or a shadow, I place the paper or canvas directly in its path, so that it is projected onto the picture plane. I then paint in or trace around the patterns. Since I work from natural light, the patterns move rather quickly across the surface, so there is an immediacy and spontaneity to the process. When I complete a layer and run out of paper or canvas, I usually add more layers, changing colors with each one. In some of the pieces, I use only this process. In others, I use the patterns as a framework to develop abstract compositions that often include collage elements, representational drawings, and intuitive mark-making. Sometimes the collaged pieces are from previous light-based drawings or paintings. This repetition of pattern and process is consistent with the idea that time, represented by moving light and shadow, is cyclical and infinite.

Will Wilson, Will Wilson Art (Original Art)
I am interested in exploring the psychic fossils of popular culture and media exposure. Part of how I do this is by drawing inspiration thematically and stylistically from a broad range of sources. Video games, board games, cartoons, comics, graffiti, nature, and the human condition are used as starting points to create work that is bizarre and familiar. By depositing these fossils of shared experience in my work, I am inviting you to excavate the images I have created and your own experience of these sources simultaneously. Ultimately, I am trying to create joyful, colorful, and imaginative work that tries to make people smile.

Leah and Paul Beaver, Light Up Labs (Home Decor)
We make lamps. Wall lamps, table lamps, pendant lamps, floor lamps...anything in the lighting category we're open to trying. We especially love making lamps out of things that used to be something else. Most of our lamps are made with interesting looking or nostalgic items from the past. While attempting to preserve their original form, we give these discarded objects a new life someone can enjoy. As we continue to expand our shop inventory, our commitment to using as many re-purposed materials in the construction of our lamps has only intensified. Instead of buying new sockets, switches, plugs or other fixture components, we make every effort to use salvaged materials in order to decrease our carbon footprint and excess waste. It may not be feasible to transform all the junk in the world into a sweet lamp, but piece by piece, we're willing to give it a try.

It is my passion to create captivating jewelry and cut stones that are alluring, versatile, and vibrant with the feelings of pure joy and inspiration - talismans or amulets to wear throughout the day. It is my intent that this will be passed on to the wearer. Why? If you are happy, you will naturally spread it like wild fire to everyone around you. And then they will feel good too! I use captivating, natural gemstones, lustrous sterling and fine silver, gold-filled and copper metals in my designs. Why? Historically precious stones and metals have been used to embue leaders with strength, courage, will and other positive qualities. And in today's terms, precious metals and gemstones are eco-friendly. They are healthy, naturally beautiful, and feel wonderful against your skin.

Kristen Schaefer, Night Owl Createry (Home Decor)
I have been designing and hand painting vintage and retro style wood signs for 20 years, from sports to holidays, tavern to cheeky spins on popular home sayings and an entire new line dedicated to our best friends…dogs. They are solid pine and hand rubbed to a satin finish with select European wax, custom orders are welcome. I also sew a line of upcycled fabric and wood trees, pumpkins and acorns, all the wood is harvested from my own backyard where trees like to fall on our home. I hate to waste them. I love all things vintage and currently working on replica Japanese Putz style houses with sisal trees and other creations using authentic 1950’s Christmas supplies. I see a transformation in everything so its routine for me to drag home odd things, usually in bulk and to the dismay of my better half, because they speak to me. Some new projects will be created from whiskey barrel rings, 3’ wood spool ends, large aluminum flour sifters that are beautifully worn, old radio vacuum tubes and mini pallets. I’m always excited to be deep into my work. Creativity is better than coffee!

We make 100% beeswax candles in various shapes and colors. Beeswax candles are a cleaner, brighter, and much longer burn than petroleum based candles. There is also little to no dripping which makes them extremely versatile. We do not scent our candles so all you are getting is the faint smell of beeswax when burning it, making it a great dinner centerpiece. As opposed to soy candles, our beeswax candles do not rely on mono-agriculture and that is better for the environment. We also have local honey from our apiaries in Elyria. OH. The honey is raw and never heated. It is harvested about every 3 weeks in order to capture the variety of tastes produced by the bees based on what is blooming at the time.

Ian Barrett, Fuego Fermentations (Food)
Fuego Fermentations makes carefully composed, unique, balanced and complex fermented vegan and gluten-free hot sauces and BBQ sauces. I was fortunate to have been recently given national recognition by winning a Good Food Award. I take great care and pride in the good food I make as well as the good ways in which I make it. All of my sauces are non-gmo and almost everything in my sauces is locally sourced. I work closely with Rainbow Farms in North Perry to ensure that I use the best ethically and locally sourced ingredients possible. It is important to me that I put as much money as I can back into the Cleveland and Northeast Ohio food systems. The passion I have for chilies and fermented hot sauce is evident in how tasty my sauces are. I offer a wide selection of flavor profiles and heat levels. I have some awesome mild sauces no doubt, but the trend is that more people want heat in their sauces. I take a lot of care dialing in that balance of heat and flavor, which other brands tend to lack. A stand-out of my sauces is the way I use fruit in them. I use just enough fruit to get the layers and complexity I want, and then I cut them off. Like a vocal harmony, there is a sweet spot you can live in, but once one of those notes oversteps its’ boundaries, then it is all off. In order to keep the high-quality standards of my products, inside and out, nothing is co-packed. All Fuego Fermentations products are hand bottled, hand labeled, and hand waxed by me proudly in Old Brooklyn, the community in which we live, at the Old Brooklyn Cheese Company.

Shari Escott, Paper Cutz Vintage (Cards + Paper)
Using vintage print materials (examples: Magazines, newspapers, programs, wallpapers, matchbooks) I create detailed works of art depicting skylines, figures, landmarks, etc. When you look closely at my work you will see the details from the source materials but when you look at the piece as a whole you see the subject of my art. I then make prints & cards from my originals to sell at shows alongside a few originals. This ensures my art is available to all regardless of means.
