Holiday weekend!

We’ll see you in Market Square Park this Saturday from 10-4:00! Choktoberfest is coming up soon on the 10th, too (same day as our show at Lake Affect Studios). We are loving these last days of summer — be sure to #getoutCLE and shop local.

It’s a home game for the Indians and we’ll have some great shirt vendors on Saturday with all the made-in-Cleveland designs you love. Grab a beer at Great Lakes, get your grilling supplies at the Market and enjoy all the wonderful things our city has to offer on a beautiful sunny Saturday!

On that note… we spotted this sign downtown yesterday and after the initial laugh, we can’t really disagree! When you shop locally, not only are you putting your money back into the community directly, you’re also helping build a thriving economy of makers and doers who live here and make our city even better. If you haven’t been watching the show Cleveland Hustles, tune in. It’s great to see NEO getting a positive boost in the national media, and you’re a part of that!

We’ll be publishing a roundup post about our first Retail Lab experience at Legacy Village soon — watching our Bazaar family learn, grow and push boundaries for their businesses is one of the most exciting things about what we do.

Seeing what many of your local favorites from Bazaar have gone on to create (Cleveland Clothing Company, and We Bleed Ohio’s shops come to mind!) is so incredibly satisfying.
