Lindsay Vincent, Copper Acorn Jewelry

“I find joy in transforming simple pieces of copper, brass or silver into jewelry with unexpected modern, organic and natural designs. These architectural and nature-inspired designs could be anything from a butterfly wing, to rows of crops in a farmland, to a spiral staircase. I use various metalsmith techniques to create my jewelry. Recently I’ve focused on etching metals which allows for unique patterns. Then, using various types of media, I often apply eye-catching or bold colors to highlight the designs. My hope is that my jewelry inspires the wearer toward self-expression and confidence through fashion."
