New site feature: Maker Catalog

Recently Meta (Facebook, Instagram, etc) made some changes that won't allow us to include non-Meta links in our posts unless we pay an extraordinary amount of money. The pricing tier that would allow to create our usual Meet the Makers posts for holiday would cost $499 per month.

That is simply not feasible for an event of our size so we've made some upgrades and changes to the website that will allow you to access direct links to our makers' websites, social media and more without us getting penalized financially.

Each holiday show is set up as a "collection" on the website. You can see all the artists who will be at that show by scrolling through the pages. If you click on their photo it will take you to their own page, with information about them and links to their website, social media, etc. As we add additional content (video interviews, for example) you'll find those there, too.

We can also put together collections based on content, i.e. jewelry, original art, items for pets... and we'll be creating those as well! Right on top of the photos is a "filter" option that is tag based. If you choose a particular tag, for example "Black-owned," it will create a new page featuring all the artists inside that show fitting the tag description.

To search ALL Bazaar artists, go to the Maker Catalog collection. Only holiday 2026 artists are in there now but the catalog will grow as new artists join us in 2027 and as we add artists from previous years.

Check out these initial collections and share them on social media, such as your Facebook wall... not saying that would be fun and petty but... hmmm.
