I make hand tied and dyed clothing, accessories, and decorative items using natural fiber fabrics and fiber reactive dye. My style ranges from naturally colored, earthy patterns to more ÒtraditionalÓ tie-dyed mandalas in rainbow colors, and I am constantly working to develop new & interesting patterns, and color combinations. I mostly work using a hot water irrigation technique IÕve developed myself that reliably produces strong, vibrant color and deep dye saturation. My technique and chemical process of using fiber reactive dyes creates permanent, beautiful color that will outlast the garment - no fading, no bleeding. In fact, the colors will outlast the fabric itself! I am also increasing sourcing secondhand blanks to dye so I can reduce the environmental impact of my business and make use of all the excess fabric already in existence.
