Freelance artist specializing in watercolor and mixed media paintings. My artwork ranges from imaginative realism, to landscape and wildlife art that is given my own interpretation through color and linework. IÕm inspired by the natural world around us and explore this relationship by merging elements of nature into all of my work. I am always looking for new ways to explore this in my art, from using natural materials like insect wings, paper wasp nest, feathers, and other natural materials. I am an avid hiker and backpacker and currently my work has been focused on doing watercolor plein air paintings while out hiking remote areas.
