At Purple Door Glass Art, I create art that celebrates the natural world in both stained glass and kiln-formed glass, often combining the two forms. I enjoy using a variety of glass textures, colors and finishes to reflect the form of an object, but also to add an element of Ôpop and whimsyÕ. Whether working in two dimensions or constructing 3D forms, I often incorporate organic materials like wood and wire to ground my glasswork. My work includes everything from layered, fused glass landscape panels to stained glass flower bouquets, succulents and plant stakes.
